New Exhibits Coming March 15!

The WaterShed is transforming into the nation's first water and climate education center, and our doors open on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Reserve your FREE tickets to our opening day here.

The new all-ages, hands-on exhibits will explore themes of our connection to water, climate impacts to the watershed and how you can join community efforts to take climate action.  Dance in the snow theater, tinker at the Innovation station and pledge to make a difference in our community.

The WaterShed exhibit hall is closed to the public while we finish making these exciting changes inside. We'll be sharing our progress on social media and we hope you'll follow along.

Limited Programming Available

1. On-site K-12 lessons – select outdoor lessons are available March - October.
2. Educational outreach lessons – choose from our menu of lessons available to schools in Boise, Garden City, Eagle and Meridian.
3. Tour Tuesdays – Tour the West Boise Water Renewal Facility on the second Tuesday of each month.
4. Homeschool Days – Outdoor off-site excursions for homeschool students.
5. Teacher Workshops – the NASA Earth-to-Sky Workshop and Project WET workshops will be offered off-site.
6. Models and Kits – available for free check-out to use in your classroom or home school.
