City Nature Challenge Homeschool Day

Location: The WaterShed
Free program for home school families open to all ages, with a focus on programming for 5-12 year olds at the WaterShed
Reserve a ticket for a 1 hour guided walk around the ponds at the WaterShed learning about local ecology while participating in the City Nature Challenge. The City Nature Challenge is an international event to document wildlife in your own city! Walks start at 10am, 11am, 12pm and 1pm and 2pm

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. Dress for the weather; path is uneven dirt/gravel and trail is 1.5 mile roundtrip. Jogging strollers allowed. No dogs, except service animals allowed. Optionally, participants may want to download the free iNaturalist app on a device prior to the hike.
Participants may also explore the exhibit hall and outdoor river campus between 9:30 am - 4:30 pm.
