The WaterShed is closed while we transform into the nation's first climate and water education center. We’ll see you on March 15 for the grand opening of our new all-ages, hands-on exhibit hall! Reserve your FREE tickets to our opening day here.

The outdoor river campus opens mid-March through October during normal business hours, Monday - Friday 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Closed weekends and holidays.
Getting Here
The WaterShed is located at 11818 W. Joplin Road in Boise, ID, near the intersection of Chinden Blvd. and Cloverdale. Use Entrance B (Ancell Avenue) into the West Boise Water Renewal Facility.
Free parking is available in our visitor parking lot.
Bus Routes
Route 8X has a bus stop within walking distance to the WaterShed.
Bike the Greenbelt
There is no direct access from the greenbelt, however N. Garrett Street in Garden City connects to Chinden Blvd. Bikers will need to access Joplin Road from W Chinden Blvd.
Bike parking is available in front of the education center.
